In addition to out regular Bus service times there are some changes in Rotherham from Sunday 31 August

As you may already be aware, bus companies in South Yorkshire are free to decide where and when they will run services. South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) is unable to prevent commercial operators from withdrawing services, but where possible we work with local bus operators and local authorities to minimise the impact on our communities.

SYMCA has agreed with Rotherham Council (RMBC) to fund some evening journeys and route and timetable variations to some services in Rotherham, to better coordinate services and improve connections for local communities, with effect from Sunday 31 August.

From Sunday 31 August, the following changes will be made to services in Rotherham:

* Service 7 – Rotherham – Barnsley (Globe Coaches) – additional journeys will be introduced every 2 hours on Monday to Saturday evenings and on Sunday.
